Archaelogical collection

This includes findings from the Podravje region that were obtained from excavations, gifts and purchases. The collection includes stone tools and ceramics from the Late Stone Age and Copper Age. The Bronze Age is represented by bronze artefacts and pottery from our storage, urn field, cemeteries and settlements. Pottery from Poštela is from the Early Iron Age and Celtics weapons and pottery are from the Late Iron Age. Iron and bronze artefacts, pottery, glass dishes and stone monuments originate from Roman villas, tumulus and other sites. Late Antiquity is represented by pottery and iron tools and early medieval times by some old-Slavic pottery, tools and jewellery.
