Furniture collection

The furniture collection includes quality manufactured artefacts from the Gothic period to the Secession. Most of them date from the late 17th until the end of the 19th century. The collection consists mainly of chests, commodes, tabernacle cabinets, secretaires and different sets of furniture (sofas and armchairs). Most of the collected furniture was used in castles in Styria, Carinthia and Prekmurje, as well as in mansions, middle class houses and peasant houses.
