
Clock collection
The collection includes artefacts of local and foreign workshops from the 17th to the 20th century. The collection includes sundials, high standing Astronomic clocks with complex mechanisms and smaller standing tabernacle clocks with wooden frames and metal accessories. Standing clocks from the Empire period have rich figural, animal and plant decorations. Part of the collection is made up of clocks in the shape of pictures, baskets and clocks in frames that are typical of the Biedermeier period as well as iron and wooden wall clocks with weights, pocket watches and alarm clocks. Historical clocks have Neo-Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque forms.
